Cleaning & Disinfecting Policies and Duty Roster
What must be done…
To be cleaned after each use:
High chair.
Potty seat/toilet seat.
Diaper changing mat.
Kitchen counters/Food preparation areas.
Sipper cups and baby bottles
Clean once a day:
Any and all toys put into a child's mouth.
Bathroom sink, toilet and floor.
Table and chairs.
All toys put away, inside and out.
Sweep patio.
Vacuum rugs.
Remove all trash from cans.
Doors and doorknobs
Clean once a week:
Bedding, blankets, pac-n-plays, & nap mats.
All toys inside and out.
Wash down large toys and patio areas.
Dust entire playroom and bathroom, including shelves.
Spider web check.
Maintain lawns and landscaping areas.
Clean once a month:
Refrigerator.
Microwave.
Central heating and air vents.
Perform:
A monthly test on all smoke detectors & document.
A fire drill, done every six (6) months & document.
